Definition:

Word Processor is a software that helps you to create any type of written communication. Like a letter , a report , a memo , or any other type of correspondence or text data.

Microsoft Word:

Microsoft Word Processor is using for creating documents. It is also known as MS Word, is developed by Microsoft. The first version of Microsoft Word was developed by Charles Simonyi and Richard Brodie, former Xerox programmers hired by Bill Gates and Paul Allen in 1981.

 Types of Word Processors:

There are four types of word processors.

1.  Word pad                      2.  Word Star                      3.  Word Prefect                               4.  Microsoft Word
